“Manet II“ is inspired by impressionist master, Eduardo Manet’s sketch: a study of legs - pretty ankles and ruffled hemlines. Misawa visited Cannes and was overwhelmed by the Mediterranean sunshine that changed whole colors in his vision. He transformed this powerful experience into the distinguished boots. Manet’s classic woman’s boots were expressed in a modern style incorporating world renown Thomas Mason’s custom shirt material. The beautiful, striped fabric is a metaphor of the images he has. Emulating the shirts’ traced fabric pattern instills elegant but relaxing feelings.
